What is ACROWizard?
ACROWizard is a Microsoft Word add-in that automatically finds, defines, and manages acronyms in your documents—making compliance, proposals, and technical writing easier.
How do I install ACROWizard?
You can install from Microsoft AppSource, the “Get Add-ins” button in Word, or via your organization’s deployment. For step-by-step instructions, see our

How do I insert an acronym table?
Click the table icon in the add-in’s side panel to scan your document and insert an up-to-date acronym table at the end.
Using the Add-in
How does ACROWizard find and define acronyms?
The add-in scans your document using advanced algorithms and dictionary checks, then suggests or finds definitions based on context. You can add or adjust definitions manually in the side pane.
What do the icons mean? (✅, ⚠️, ❌, 🔄, 📖)
- ✅ First occurrence with definition
- ⚠️ Later occurrence with definition
- ❌ No definition found
- 🔄 Multiple definitions found
- 📖 Acronym is a valid word but not defined
How do I ignore or include certain acronyms?
Use the "Ignore" checkbox next to any acronym in the side pane. Ignored acronyms are excluded from the inserted table unless you choose to include them.
Licensing & Subscriptions
What’s included in the free version?
The free version lets you preview up to 8 acronyms per document. To unlock unlimited use and full features, upgrade to Pro or purchase a 24-hour access pass.
How do I buy Pro or 24-hour access?
Purchase securely via our checkout links in the add-in or on our website. After purchase, you’ll receive a license key for activation.
How do I activate my license?
Enter your license key in the add-in’s “Have a license key?” section and click “Activate License.”
Payments, Refunds & Cancellations
How do I request a refund?
Refunds for unused paid access are available within 7 days of purchase. Please contact us at
SUPPORT@STRATERATECH.COM or use your
Stripe customer portal.

How do I cancel my subscription?
You may cancel anytime through your
Stripe customer portal. Your Pro features remain available until the end of your billing cycle.
Troubleshooting
The add-in isn’t working in Word/Office Online. What should I do?
Ensure you are running a supported version of Word. Try reloading the add-in, restarting Word, or checking for updates. If issues persist, contact us at SUPPORT@STRATERATECH.COM.
Why can’t the add-in find acronyms in my document?
Some documents may have unusual formatting or protected text. Try copying your content to a new document, or contact support for help.
Privacy & Security
What data does ACROWizard access?
ACROWizard only processes the text in your open Word document to find and define acronyms. No document content is sent to external servers unless you request support.
Do you share my data?
No. We do not share, sell, or use your data for any purpose other than providing the add-in’s features. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
